The inner authority of environment is an interesting one. Inner authority here is a little different. What is inner authority? For us, inner authority is a way for you to listen to your consciousness field. Don't be in the head. Get out of your way to get out of your head, and make decisions from the consciousness of the body.

The inner authority brings the power of your decisions back into your consciousness field. I know we are part of the consciousness field through one and we permeate through that and we are on the web. But, we're also having our own differentiated experience within that context. We tune our instruments and get ourselves to the correct frequency that we came here to hone in on and to operate from. We then assist the entire consciousness field in elevating its consciousness.

The inner authority empowers you to live your own individualized life. It's not about conformity. It's about individuation and standing out from the crowd by making decisions correctly for yourself. I'm not saying you have to run around with blue hair and pink socks or anything like that to stand out. It's about being truthful to your frequency. The inner authority elevates self-actualization to a place of pure awareness. You get to become aware of what is going on and how distracting the chaos can be. The distraction of trying to get you to make decisions in your mind, in your head, and that whole decision fatigue and exhaustion.

We all know this feeling of not being able to make another decision. We are not built to make decisions through the mind. We're built to make decisions through the body. I was there, I was in corporate Canada managing a branch of a financial institution. I experienced mental fatigue every day because I wasn't able to trust myself in that environment to make decisions based on my consciousness. Inner authority assesses what is correct for you. It's not about what should have occurred or peer pressure. It's about what is correct for you.

Inner authority sets up the movie so you can watch it. The movie is already playing so it's not that it sets it up per se, but it allows you to then see the movie. It gets all the bugs off your windshield. It cleans up those lenses a bit and allows you to look around and see the world around you. Instead of being reactive through the mind, the inner authority is the composer of the instrument that you came here to play through. In your bodygraph, that definition is your instrument. However, there is a limitation there. I'm not here to have all the experiences or hold all the energy and do it all. I don't want to do it all. I'm not interested in that. I came here to use my instrument and you came here to use your instrument.

The beautiful piece of that is you don't have to get all caught up, fearful, worried, and anxious about what you're not good at. You get to stand in your truth and stand in your power and be fully self-aware and self-actualized as to what you are good at. You then move from that place and that instrument that you were handed when you jumped into your meat-suit. Inner authority clears up the airwaves and tunes in your outer authority.

Outer authority is all that wisdom that you're getting from life that you're letting flow through you. Outer authority can be shared with the collective. It can be a support system for your tribe. It can help people by empowering them to step into their truth. The outer authority is when the healthy mind is using its correct range of information and sharing that information through your instrument in a clear crisp way. When your radio dial is off by just a little bit, the radio gets staticy and you can't hear the broadcast. That is what happens when we're trying to make decisions through the mind and use the mind as our decision-making maker. Instead, we should allow the mind to do what it came here to do and that's being the outer authority.

I'm gaining a lot of wisdom all day long but I'm not going into my mind to make those decisions. I'm going into my body and all that wisdom can then be shared correctly as an outer authority. I'm not perfect. I don't make decisions correctly all the time even though I know this information inside and out. It's a process. The not-self is constantly chattering in the background. I can lose focus and I can then see it instead of getting so far down the rabbit hole that I can't get my way out. At the entrance of the rabbit hole I can go, here we go, this was a decision that wasn't good for me. I can course correct and move on. That's what self-actualization is all about.

Environment is the only type that has what we call a mental projector. The inner authority here is the environment. Then you say, I thought that all that was conditioning. It can be two things: wisdom or conditioning. For mental projectors, it is about the environment. Who do you have around you? Does the environment feel good to you? When the identity center is white or undefined or open, the environment becomes a key factor in how you interact with life.

I am not a mental projector, but I do have the identity center completely open in my design. What's interesting here is that the environment is crucial for me. I'll give you a quick example. I was asked to do a talk at a holistic show in Grand Prairie. This was around three years ago, and there was this energy there for it. My sacrum moved me and it was a yes. I knew that I was going to have this. I didn't have a booth in the show but I was going to do a talk and from my memory of the year prior. They had this stage in a particular spot and I never even thought to ask if they were going to change the schematic of the event. Well, I get there to do my talk and the stage is right in the middle of the whole thing. People are walking around through all four sides and they're able to come up to the stage any way they want to. That completely threw my identity center right off. That was a learning experience for me. I thought to myself, I guess I need to confirm how the room is going to be set up for next time. I'm a 1 3 and I make mistakes. Trial and error is my entire process. Everything's trial and error.

That situation taught me about environment. As a mental projector, the environment is crucial. You're designed to receive guidance from your sensory environment. This design receives guidance from sensory information about the environment through its open centers. You're gaining that through your environment and that is something that was massive learning for me. Suddenly, that particular setup was the wrong environment for me. I got up and I was supposed to talk for 45 minutes. I don't even think I got through five minutes. There was nothing there. That was interesting to me. I knew that my body wasn't feeling great about the environment but I stopped there for two or three speakers before me and that didn't help. I thought, okay I'll just get a sense for this. That didn't help though. The environment was wrong and that's okay. It was a learning experience.

For you, as a mental projector, the correct environment brings the correct people, bargains, and ideas. I've done many talks over the last six years and every one of them has ended up creating relationships with clients that I learned from and they learn from. In that particular instance, there was nothing and that's okay because I was learning.

The environment is everything for you. Decisions for you come about through conversations with trusted sounding boards. You're going to use the people in your environment as sounding boards. You're not wanting their opinion, you don't need their ideas, you don't need any of that. You're just using them as a sounding board. It's no different than a basketball player using the backboard to drop a basketball into the hoop. It's a tool. We're all using people so it's okay that you're using people. You're not pulling people, you're having a conversation with them so that you can hear the wisdom that you have gained about the decision.

Pay attention to the people in your environment. All those people are trying to give you their opinion and pull you down paths that are good for you. You will feel that because there's so much sensory information permeating your being. If the wrong people are there, most likely it's the wrong environment. How are you feeling in your environment? For me, it was a visceral feeling the moment I walked in the doors. My whole body kind of closed up. It was a visceral feeling throughout my body. I knew that the environment was wrong and I had that experience so that I could then speak to other people about that experience, coach people on that experience, and share my wisdom on that experience. I was cool with it, but the not-self mind was creating all kinds of stories. I went up on stage and I did my little bit and it's all good. I knew that the sacral moved me there to have the experience.

Human design isn't about rainbows and sunshine, it's about being able to meet the challenge and step through the challenge. Use people as sounding boards and be upfront with people. I do not want your opinion and I don't want your ideas. I want to hear myself talk. Sometimes it's good to have people reiterate what they heard. You're here to hear your own voice but if they reiterate it then maybe there's something in there that you can then hear. It isn't about their opinions or their ideas. Remember that somebody else has their perception, motivation, and their spin on the information that you spoke up. If you're trusting your voice, that's great. But if you're not there yet, play with that scenario and see if what's coming back to you is what you said. This is all an experiment. I'm giving you the tools, providing you with the mechanics and then you get to use it to see how it's correct for you.
